James C. Minor, Sr., entered into rest Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his residence.
James is survived by his children; Cynthia Lollis, James C. Minor, Jr. (Cassandra), Gary Minor (Star); grandchildren, Jovan Minor (Rhonda), Dwayne Minor, Thomas Lollis, Jr., Joseph Lollis, Samone Minor, Amaurie Parks; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Margie Dudley Ingram (Edward), Minister Velma Lee Dudley, Elmer Dudley (Shirley), George Dudley (Martha), Ella Dudley, Howard Dudley (Shirely), Lynwood Dudley (Rosie), Linda Dudley Hawkins (Edward), Millard Avery, Kathie Becton Sutton, Simon Becton, Cynthia Becton Sutton, Glenwood Becton, Wanda Smith (Michael), Norman Becton, a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858
