Obituary For Jose A. Torres-Rosario, Sr.
Mr. Jose Antonio Torres-Rosario, 77, entered into rest, Saturday, October 7, 2023, in Augusta, Georgia. He was employed as a real estate agent at Blanchard & Calhoun and retired from the United States Army as an E-7 First Sergeant.
He was affiliated with Saint Michael Catholic Church on Fort Gordon. He was also part of the Augusta Gem, Mineral Society and the Cross Roads Coin Club. He graduated from Jersey City High School, Georgia Military College, Chicago City- Wide College and the Augusta Board of Realtors. Jose Torres was an avid fan of the Georgia Bull Dogs & Atlanta Braves.
Mr. Torres-Rosario’s legacy will be cherished by his spouse, Carmen Delia Torres; children, Dolores M. Torres-Pease (Kenneth Pease), Jose Antonio Torres, Jr. (Diana Torres), Alexander Torres (Elizabeth Torres), Amelia Torres (Brian Mooney); grandchildren, Austin Alexander Torres (Joanna Torres), Gabriel Guerrero, Christopher Torres (Mikalia Torres), Rosario Evelyn Delia Torres (Darling Florentino), Ivanna Belissia Torres, Jacinda Alexis Delia Torres, Elijah Luke Torres, Milla Maryann Catalina Torres-Mooney; greatgrandchildren, Marciana Eleanora Torres; sister, Dolores Vasquez; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
A memorial service in honor of Mr. Torres-Rosario’s life will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in the chapel at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home with full military honors.
