Retired Master Sergeant Jospeh Harshaw Miles Sr., 75, entered into rest, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center-Uptown Division in Augusta, GA.

Joseph H. Miles Sr. legacy will be cherished by his spouse, Evelyn H. Miles; son, Joseph H. Miles Jr. (Kimberly); daughter, Lavonne C. Miles-Patterson (Cedric); grandchildren, Dyreka Jones and Joseph H. Miles III; great grandchildren, Aamir Jones, Skyler Jones, Aaubrey Jones, and Aariyah Jones; brother, William T. Miles Jr.; sister, Cheryl Cherry; godson, Calvert Smith (Sabra); niece, Robin Harris; great niece, Sanna Harris; close friend, Vickie Lemon; and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in the chapel of Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC.
