According to the divine plan of our gracious Lord, Latrell D. Shubert entered eternal rest on Monday, February 3, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. Latrell was a man of great strength, unwavering love, and unshakable faith. Born on February 19, 1988, in Augusta, Georgia, to the Kenneth Redfield of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Janice Shubert of Augusta, Georgia, Latrell’s life was marked by his dedication to his family, his faith, and his community.
In the early 1997s, Latrell accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he was baptized at Spirit Creek Baptist Church in Augusta. He carried his faith with him throughout his life, finding guidance and peace in his spiritual journey. Latrell was educated in the Richmond County School System, later earning his GED. He found pride and fulfillment in his work as a Plant Operator with Supreme Boats, where his reliability and work ethic shone brightly.
Above all, Latrell was a devoted son, a proud father, a loving brother, and a caring uncle. His family was the centerpiece of his life, and his love for them was evident in every action he took. Latrell was the kind of man who could brighten a room with his laughter and leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
Through life’s ups and downs, Latrell remained steadfast—a rock for his loved ones and a source of inspiration for his friends. His character was defined by honesty, loyalty, and a deep commitment to those he held dear. Latrell’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion.
He leaves behind a lasting impact, a reminder to all who knew him to cherish their family, embrace their faith, and live life with purpose. Latrell D. Shubert will forever be remembered as a man who gave his all to those he loved, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
He leaves many loving memories to his beloved family: a mother, Janice Shubert of Augusta, Georgia; a father, Kenneth Redfield of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three loving sons, Latrell O’Bryant, Jayden O’Bryant, and Fabian Shubert, all of Augusta, Georgia; one loving daughter, Kennedi Shubert of Augusta, Georgia; two brothers, Kendriquez Redfield and Travis Shubert; and one loving sister, Sanquetta Shubert, all of Augusta, Georgia. He is also survived by one loving grandmother, Anna Lou Redfield of Augusta, Georgia; two loving aunts, Marcine Redfield of Augusta, Georgia, and Alice Curry of Jacksonville, Florida; one loving uncle, James Shubert of Savannah, Georgia; a devoted and special aunt, Cashus Thompkins of Augusta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A Celebration Of Life will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Spirit Creek Baptist Church, Dixie Airline Road, Augusta, GA
Interment will be in Southview Cemetery.
