Obituary For Linda Gail Martin

Linda Gail Martin, 73, of Martinez, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026.

Linda was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved most. Whether sharing stories, offering words of encouragement, or simply being present, she made everyone feel welcomed and cherished. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a love that knew no bounds. Her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Linda cherished each of her grandchildren with all her heart, but nothing brought her greater joy than being "Granny" to her great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent loving, spoiling, and making memories with them.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Melvin Jones; mother, Lois Jones; brother, Robert Alan Jones; and sister, Pamela Jones.

She is survived by her loving son, Vince Martin; her daughter, Lisa Martin; her grandchildren, Beau Martin, Nicole Martin (Drew), Bethanie Martin (Cody), and Wesley Black (Miranda); her great-grandchildren, Kenley Lavallee, Riley Harman, Madison Lavallee, Waylon Black, and Lainey Lavallee, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will remain with us always. Her memory will forever be a source of strength, comfort, and inspiration to those who loved her. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness and unwavering love will continue through the family she cherished so dearly.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Beau Martin, Wesley Black, Cody Harman, Drew Lavallee, Seth Gonnella, and Elijah Gonnella.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 prior to the service.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. Augusta, GA 30906, with Chris Mays officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
