Obituary For Marie A. Hall
Marie Anjonette Hall was born June 25, 1958, to the late Lillie May and Abner B. Hedgeman in Mansfield, Louisiana. She transitioned from this life on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Marie was baptized into the body of Christ at D’Antignac Street Church of Christ. She was a 1976 graduate of Desota Parish High School in Mansfield, Louisiana. She continued her
education at Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Early Education from Paine College with Magna Cum Laude recognition. She continued her education and received a Masters and Educational Leadership degrees from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts. She was employed by the Richmond County School System for 20 years. Marie served as a Bible School teacher, member of the Finance
Committee, High School Graduation Program Committee, Ladies Day Program Committee, and a member of the “Faith” Chorus Group at Grace Street Church of Christ. She was a faithful Christian until her health failed.
Public viewing will be Thursday January 1, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Ga 30906
Celebration Of Life will be Friday January 2, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at Church Of Christ 120 Grace Street, Augusta, GA.

Angie. My childhood friend. It's been so many years. My prayer is for strength & courage for the Hall, Carter & Hedgemon Families. Girl, you got your Wings...Soar with the Angels. It is said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Be Blessed.
Desoto High School Class of 1976 lifts the Hall, Carter, Hedgemon families in prayer. We pray that God will strengthen and comfort you during these difficult days. Oh my childhood friend. I know through out the years we lost contact but the love was still there. I can remember when we talked on the phone for hours and played Jackson Five records, having sleep overs and spending weekends at my parents house during our teen years. We had so much fun. You have gained your wings. Rest in peace you beautiful soul💞
I remember Angie as a sweet soul that played saxophone in the band with me. We went to NLU and I will cherish the memories we shared and she was apart of the class of 1976💙♥️. Now rest and may God continue to be a refuge for your family.

My condolences to the family and friends of Marie. I have known her forever we grew up together I. Mansfield Louisiana her father was my elementary school Principal. I knew her mother also a teacher. This News saddens me my prayers for each of you. Her oldest child father is one of my best friends. May the Lord's comfort and peace be on your hearts 💕💕
