Mr. Marion Leon Hamilton, Sr., 69, entered into rest, Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Augusta University Medical Center. He was born on February 25, 1954, to the late Thomas and Mamie Jo Hamilton in Waynesboro, GA.
He graduated from Waynesboro High School and was a member of Murphy Ebenezer Baptist Church in Waynesboro, GA.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Mario Hamilton and Dominique Hamilton; daughter, Kenya Hamiliton; sister, Shirley Ann Mickens; brothers, Michael Hamilton, James Hamilton and Thomas Daniel Hamilton.
He loved his family and friends. Anyone that came around him was guaranteed a good time with laughter and food.
Marion’s legacy will be cherished by his children, Keela Rhodes, Antonio (Michaela) Hamilton, Dedra Hamilton, Marion Leon Hamilton, Jr., Marvin Hamilton, and DeMaryon Hamilton; siblings, Mamie Evelyn (John) Brown, Hattie (Jonas) Doyle, Johnny Travis, Harold Hamilton, Ralph Sterling (Cynthia) Hamilton, Donald (Dianne) Hamilton, Dawn Michelle Hamilton; only surviving aunt, Naomi Rouse; a special friend, Mary Walker; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and dear friends.
