Mark, my heart beaks for you when I saw that Mrs. Oliphant has transitioned. She was a wonderful, brilliant woman whom I'm grateful to have had the privilege of being a student under her guidance. I wish I could be there in person to pay tribute to one of my favorite teachers. But since I can't, please know that I'm praying for you and your family as you grieve the loss and celebrate the life of your beloved mama. Blessings & Aloha, Linda 🌺
Sixty three years ago, I was a part of Mrs. Oliphant's 2nd grade class. And, I think the main reason I believe I became a good speller is because Mrs. Oliphant challenged us to learn to spell the word transportation. At the time it was the largest word I had seen as a second grader. But, it allowed me to hear, see, and breakdown a word.
You were a great teacher! Sending sincere condolenences to your family.

To The Carter Oliphant family and all my cousins your mom, my cousin will truly be missed. I will never forget the joy that embraced us when her and my mom (Irene Tapia) would sit at the table and laugh while sharing precious memories at the family reunion. It gave me joy, made me happy to see them together laughing and bonding like that even though they hadn't seen each other in years. They just picked up where they left off. She was truly full of love and she spread it around to all. Be comforted family. ❤️ you. Your cousin Zora A Wright
My wonderful cousin Pearl. Your smile is shining like a star in heaven now. It warmed our hearts whenever you walked in the room. I will always carry it in my heart. You will truly be missed and the memories of the family reunions will always be a reminder of your love of family.

My deepest sympathy to the Dunn, Hairston and Oliphant Family on your loss. She was a wonderful, caring person, inside and out and always with a welcoming smile. She was a kindred spirit, an advisor, a helper, and a listener. She will truly be missed. As some people journey through life, they leave footprints wherever they go- footprints of kindness and love, courage and compassion, humor, inspiration, joy and faith, even when they're gone, we can still look back and clearly see the trail they left behind. A trail bright with hope that invites us to follow. Praying you'll be comforted with precious memories and God's presence to care during your loss.
Mark and Family, Prayers and Condolences during your time of loss. May the love and memories of yesterday bring you comfort today and forever. Until you meet again, take comfort in the thought of your mother walking 'round Heaven all day.
Best regards to everyone connected to this exceptional woman. Thank you Cheryl & Wendy for sharing her with us and the CSRA Chapter of the Boggs Academy Alumni Association.
Mark I know your pain as I lost my mom in 2010 Believe and you will see both again God bless you 🙏
My foundest memories are when my aunt and cousins would visit with me while I was attending Boggs Academy. The care packages and home cooked meals were just the begining of the grace and benevolence she bestowed on all she knew.
To the family, you have my deepest condolences and sympathy during this time of mourning. I loved Mrs. Oliphant as she was my 2nd grade teacher. As years went by.... I called her Mom and would send her Roses for her birthday and Mother's Day.... Cheryl, Wendy and Mark thank you for sharing her with me... Love you all...
Sis. Oliphant was a jewel with a kindred spirit. The last time we spoke was in BBC bathroom after church service. I told her how beautiful she looked. She said thank you I needed that. She said you're are always so kind. Rest in Heaven my angel.
Mrs Pearl was the grandmother I needed in this season of my life.. she was faithful client that paid her own price and set her time and I work accordingly around her schedule. I'm grateful to God for placing this angel in my life cause she has help me through many growing pains. Her advice was always needed and she would tell me to cry child and then figure out what you going do. Sending love to her kids and thanking them for sharing their mother with me 🥰 even though this is hard I know she's telling me I do fine for a old lady...
I am so thankful for the love Ms.Pearl gave to me. Her kindness blessed me throughout the years. Praying for the Lord to cover you with His grace and strength during this time and the days to come. Love you all! Kim
