So sorry for your lost
I fondly remember Mr. Percy Williams during his long tenure as Custodian/Church Sexton at Macedonia Baptist Church/Macedonia Church of Augusta. He was also so genuine, kind, and took a remarkable amount of pride in his work carrying for the cleanliness of the edifice. My Mother shared with me that he had transition from labor to reward, and I'm glad to see this picture here as I've not seen him in many years. I grew in Macedonia and am a product of East Augusta, where I was raised. God rewarded him with a long and glorious life, and my soul is happy as I pen this message knowing that. May he rest in everlasting peace after a lifetime's labor of love. We know that to be absent in the body, the ephemeral clayhouse, is to be present with the Lord. To his family and loved ones, I hope in these words you find true comfort.
