Reverend Paul A. Hull departed this life on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. John and Doris Hull. He was the oldest of six children.
Rev. Hull was educated in the Oglethorpe County Public School System. He continued his education at the University of Maryland and the City of Chicago. Rev. Hull also attended the Christian Life School of Theology.
He proudly served in the United States Army, in which he retired after 22 years of faithful service as MSG.
Reverend Hull was licensed to preach the Gospel under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Reginald Hunter in December 2007. He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry on June 29, 2008, and installed as Pastor of Heard Chapel Baptist Church in Washington, GA, on September 14, 2008. He was later installed as Pastor of Twin Oak Baptist Church in Washington, GA, in 2012.
Reverend Hull was affiliated with many religious, civic, and social organizations. He was a member of New Springhill Baptist Church, where he served as an Adult Sunday School Teacher, President of the Pastor’s Support Ministry, President of the Hospitality Committee, President of the Male Chorus, Chairman of the Missionary Ministry, served on the Deacon’s Ministry, and he served as the Advisory Council Chairperson of the Area Agency on Aging.
Rev. Hull was a member of the Third Shiloh Missionary Baptist Association and the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia and also served as Vice Moderator.
He was the owner and operator of his own business, P and D Services.
Reverend Hull was a caring and loving husband, he leaves to carry on his legacy a devoted wife of twenty one years, Dorene L. Hull; sons Tennyson, Paul, and Eugene; daughters, Demetrus, Shante, Regina (Quon), Sherrikka; siblings, Dorothy (Clifford), Lena (James), Bobbie (Don), Josephine (Jimmy); sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; church family, a host of other relatives and loving friends. He was a very outgoing person; even on his bad days, he was still going to be himself. He would help anyone that he could.
Public viewing and visitation will be Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Ga.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, 11am, January 17, 2026, at Bellevue Memorial Gardens & Chapel, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
