Ms Rubye was a beautiful jewel because of her dedicated gracious heart. She cared for and about my sister Dede and others of course at Regional hospital formerly Gracewood in Augusta. My heart goes out to her loved ones and may they be forever greatful for their precious Rubye...now at rest from the cares of this world. I am here if you need me. Oh my I hope and believe the reunions in Heaven of those she was called to bless...now whole... are just grand and delightful for all. Love and ETERNALLY grateful for Ms Rubye. Devoted, Kim
You will be missed you always a kind ❤️ heart
What an awesome and genuine person "Ms Rubye" was! So authentic and a true woman of God! She loved everyone she met and was a beacon of light for the children of "the Kids Bible Club" of Lakemont Church who met with her church monthly. She transported many of the children every year to the summer Vacation Bible School and always led them in songs and in prayer. I worked with her for many years at East Central Regional Hospital; she at Gracewood and me at GA Regional. I met her as a z freshman at Paine College in 1966 and we became fast friends and it lasted until her death . She was a wonderful human being and will certainly be missed. Her wings were ready for her and she left without saying goodbye. God now has her in his care 🙏🥰 Ann Howard-Parris
God has received another dedicated servant! To the family, I know you all will miss her presence, but she left behind a legacy to each life she touched at East Central Regional Hospital (ECRH) and beyond. I had the great honor and pleasure of meeting Ms. Rubye on the Augusta Campus (ECRH) in October 2004. I was the new Social Worker on board, and she took me under her wings and trained me. I witnessed the love and respect she had for the individuals, their family, staff, and others she encountered. Truly, I was blessed to meet and be trained by such a wonderful woman. She exemplified the true meaning of what a social worker should be and look like by treating everyone with dignity and respect. May her legacy live on through all of us.
Love in Christ, Vanessa
