Sheila McCray Zinnerman, 66, transitioned from this life on Thursday, September 26, 2023, in Augusta, Georgia.
Sheila was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Professionally, she served as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for over twenty-five years. Sheila was a graduate of Glenn Hills Comprehensive High School. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix and her Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Strayer University.
Sheila is preceded in death by her mother, Ella Mae McCray and sister, Kathy McCray.
Sheila's legacy will forever be cherished by her children, Vernon Zinnerman Jr. (Augusta, GA), Stephen (Natasha) Zinnerman (Fayetteville, NC), Ella (Patrick) Norris (Savannah, GA), and Benjamin Zinnerman (Augusta, GA); father, Luther (Annie) McCray Sr.; siblings, Luther McCray Jr., Cynthia McCray, Harry McCray, James McCray, and Timothy (Angela) McCray.
Sheila's beautiful grandchildren, devoted companion, James Morris, and a host of other family members and close friends, will also hold loving memories of her.
A memorial service in honor of Sheila's life will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 7, 2023, in the chapel at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA. (706) 790-8858.
