Obituary For Shirley Ann Smith

Shirley Ann Smith, entered into rest Monday, January 19, 2026. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, the late John H. Smith, Sr., and from this union were born her two sons, John H. Smith, Jr. and Xavier Smith, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally.

Shirley was a devoted grandmother to John Smith III, Jordan Smith, Justin Smith, and Nyla Smith, and a cherished great-grandmother to Marley and Juni, who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lindsie Golff, Jr., Joe Golff, Edna Golff, and Susie Golff Handberry.

She is survived by her loving siblings, Rosa Clark, Robbie Golff, Sr, and Ollie Parrish along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday the 27th from 3 pm to 5pm, at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will be 12 noon, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens, 3666 Deans Bridge Road.
