Vonnie R. Jones entered into rest Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Piedmont Augusta Hospital, with her family at her side.
She cherished every moment with her grandchildren, adored listening to music, and never missed a football game. Her caring, loving, and spirited nature touched everyone's hearts. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality as she now rests peacefully with her beloved parents; Betty and Ray Walden and her sister, Donna Gullikson.
Her fond loving memories will be cherished by her children; Shannon Shaffer (Daniel), Robert A. Jones (Nicole), Brandon Jones; grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Kayla, DJ, Austin, Cameron and Hailey; brothers, Dennis Walden and Thomas Walden; nine great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and loving friends.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 4, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858

I remember how much Vonnie loved and cared for my brother Raymond Thomas and my mom Sandy Thomas. There are a lot of memories running through my mind but Vonnie's love for others was contagious! She will truly be missed! Prayers for the entire family! Love being sent!

I had a car in school & Vonnie was a good friend that I picked up & drove to/from school..we had such fun times during our time at Butler. Vonnie was always the life of the party. Rest in peace q
