My time i knew Sonny was back in the 90's we became friends immediately. I knew him about eight years , I regret not being able to talk with him a little bit more. I left truth or consequences in 2000. tried to get in touch with him over the years, but i was unsuccessful. sunny help me grow up. Tell me how to be the man that I should be. He was a good man he will be missed and never forgotten. Michael c mcgroarty
I remember Sonny as my First Sergeant.he was a caring mentor that I respected and loved like a father. I remember the glow in his eye when he spoke of his wife and family. He was a great man who served his country with respect and dignity. Great leader. JeffLeavitt USArmy retired
