Obituary For Edward "Ed" Ashenbrenner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward “Ed” Ashenbrenner on the evening of January 28, 2025. Ed was born on November 16, 1951, in Longmont, Colorado, to parents Louie Ashenbrenner and Marie (Pope) Ashenbrenner. Ed loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dachshunds, but most of all, he loved spending time with his wife. There was never a stranger he would not talk to; he could spark up a conversation with just about anyone. In his free time, Ed enjoyed playing pool with friends and was a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW. Ed also loved attending Sturgis.

Edward is survived by his three stepchildren—Kathy Fallon, John Fallon, and David Fallon—and his two nieces (whom he treated like his own children)—Laura Beery of Kansas and Lisa Knoblich of Kansas. He is also survived by his great-nieces—Haley Morrison (Dusty) of Kansas, Brittany Beery (Austin Kendell), and Jordan Beery (Ethan Good)—as well as his great-great-grandnieces/nephews—Lane Morrison, Cheyanne Morrison, Clayton Kendell, and Ella Good.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Ashenbrenner; his parents, Louie and Marie Ashenbrenner; and his brother, George Ashenbrenner.

Cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time.
