Obituary For Fernando Montoya
Fernando “Tito” Montoya, 53, passed away on April 6, 2024. Tito was born in Hondo, NM to Fernando Montoya and Fidela Archuleta. He lived a life dedicated to helping others and was always there to offer a helping hand. Tito was a firefighter at the Spaceport and also worked with Sierra Vista EMS, where he touched the lives of many. Tito also worked on the ranch, where he could be with his horses, enjoying the outdoors, and hunting. He also enjoyed making things and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Tito is survived by his partner, Shawna Hays; his dad, Fernando Montoya; children: Tonee Montoya, Tito Montoya, and Dylan Montoya; as well as numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fidela Montoya.
The family invites everyone to join them in celebrating Tito’s life on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 6:00 PM at 101 Water Street Elephant Butte, NM 87935.
