Obituary For Jaime Rolando
Jamie Rolando believed in forever. She began her journey to “rock and roll Heaven” on July 28, 2024, to reunite with “The Band”. High Life, Hip Shot, Motown, Jim, Janis, Otis, and Marvin are waiting.
Jamie loved fast cars, fast horses, fast boats, fast guitar riffs, and slow tortoises. She traveled internationally and was a true sun worshiper. She craved the beach, Sonoran Desert, and F1 racing. Her passion and life’s work were tortoises and turtles. She was a biologist/herpetologist and was a field researcher. She received her graduate degree while serving as a police officer in Tucson, AZ. As a child and young adult, Jamie was an accomplished equestrian. Jamie would light up a room when she entered, and people were drawn to her personality and laughter.
Jamie will forever live in our hearts. Whenever we think of her, fond memories and laughter will ignite. Jamie was sunshine on a cloudy day, and when it was cold outside, she was the month of May…
Rock on Jamo, life was just a one-night stand.

Add A CondolenceMary and I have known Jamie for 30 years and shared the cripple creek days. She visited us in Germany when we lived there, met up in Vegas , would occasionally spend summer days laying out by our pool here in San Antonio and we would regularly visit her at the butte on our trips to phoenix for spring training baseball. She was truly a unique individual of uncommon inner strength, but as we told her regularly, she's definitely an acquired taste. A day hasn't past since July 28th that we haven't thought of her with so many reminders around our house. Miss her bunches.
You always did it your way Jamie. I respected that about you. You were my neighbour, sometimes friend and sometimes very frustrating! We always patched things up. No more honey do's. No more hour long conversations taking our "favourite neighbours" inventory! I will miss that. In the end you did it exactly how you wanted to. MLHR. See you soon I am sure. Paul
Life with Jamie was one wild ride , always a Mischievous smile, and a twinkle in her eye, set her course and life was always lived fully . I was honored to know amd share moments with her in Mexico , law enforcement and briefly marriage , blessed were those that truly knew her , peaceful breezes and a smile in the next adventure around the bend , tears of joy and and sadness do fall as time moves on . Didn't know her long but enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to being reunited with her in heaven. God loves her and so did I.
