Judith Ann Green, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Truth or Consequences, NM. Judy was born in Canandaigua, NY to Donald Isaac Green and Virginia Eloise Goodemote. Judy was a free spirited, creative, and loving person. She was a teacher, teaching grade school before going on to learn about alternative medicine, continuing to teach others about the healing powers of nature’s medicine. She loved all things nature, moving to New Mexico, where she worked at Elephant Butte State Park. She was hardworking and loyal, a friend to all those she came into contact with, though she wasn’t afraid of telling it like it was. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Judy is survived by her brother, Donald A. Green (Nancy); nieces- Constance K. Perry, Monica S. Olschwang, Pepper M. Billings, Jessica S. Green, and Bess A. Green; Great nieces and nephews- Aristotle, Aniya, Casey, Codey, Duncan, Sydney, Cooper and Janelle. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, John I. Green.
A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held in both Truth or Consequences, and Western, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the T. or C. Animal Shelter.
Judy was my "cool and fun" Aunt. When we talked, we would talk for hours, with no one wanting to hang up first. She was good at everything she did, but never quite believed it was enough. I miss you, your love, honesty (when everyone else was mincing words), and unconditional love.
So many wonderful memories with Judy from our youth. Rest in Peace dear friend. With sincere sympathy to Don and family. Mary J. Watson
