Obituary For Kelly Ann Byers

Kelly Ann Byers, 64, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, passed away on January 31, 2025. She was born on December 25, 1960, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Robert Thomas and Ellen Maureen McGillicuddy.

Kelly worked as a cashier, but her true joy came in spending time with family, traveling, and cherishing the company of her beloved pets—two Cockatiels and two cats. Above all, Kelly was a devoted grandmother to her fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and shared countless memories with.

Kelly’s memory will live on through her children, Deanna Knull (Jason), Brian Lustgraaf, Jodie Kilgore (Kevin Walker), and Cecilia Cornell (Art Caroso); her grandchildren, David Knull (Blanca), Steven Nodal, Jakob Kilgore, Sage Kilgore, Tyler Knull, Stacy Morgan (Rick), Logan Knull, Senena Nodal, Kasper Muckey, Manny Martinez, Sophia Nodal, Salym Muckey, Bryton Walker, and Bentley Walker; and her great-grandchildren, Haley, Beaux, Adaline, Huxley, and Cyrus. She is also survived by her siblings- Robert Thomas, Dawn Thomas, Martin Thomas (Chris), and Scott Thomas (Rhonda).

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Maureen Thomas; her sisters, Jody Thomas and Lori Bolte; and her uncle, Robert McGillicuddy.

Kelly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
