Malaya Dawn Angela Carey, from the very beginning you were our precious little Angel. I felt your warmth and your love and knew you were very special. Malaya, I believe you were too precious for this Earth, so God decided to make you an Angel. He needs an Angel strong but small to shine light on many and give love to all. I give you half of my heart and one last kiss. We will miss you dearly, to Heaven you must go. We will love you always! Mom & Dad

Malaya’s family includes her parents, Rudolf Paul Carey, III and Jacqueline C. Halsey; siblings: Jazlyn I. Cates, Jayla R. Cates, and Mia L. Carey; grandparents – Dawn Halsey and Andy Halsey, and Rudolf Carey, Jr. and Angel Carey; and great grandmother, Oralia V. Carey. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Nellie and Marcos Jaramillo; great grandfather, Rudolf Paul Carey; aunts - Linda Gonzales, Liz Zavala, and Ginger Jeffers; uncles - Greg Jaramillo, and Adam Jaramillo; and cousin, Tiffany Hensley.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery.
