Ronald Dean Boone was born in Nowata, Oklahoma on January 11, 1940, and passed away in El Paso, TX on March 14, 2024 at the age of 83.
Ron enjoyed reading books, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family. In his younger days he enjoyed riding horses. He wore several hats in his lifetime from being a truck driver, security guard, to being a cowboy right here in Winston at the Sage Ranch.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna H. Wood; father, Gilbert A. Boone; granddaughter, Tassy; sister, Glenna-Rae; and brother, Joe. He leaves behind his five children: Michael Boone, Monica Boone, Rebecca Boone, Jessie Boone, and John Boone (Dawn); and his partner, Julie Pettit. He was blessed with 14/grandchildren; 15/great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by so many people. May he rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life service and inurnment in Chiz, NM to be announced at a later date.
