Susan Helen Lowe, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Williamsburg, New Mexico on November 6, 2020 with her son holding her hand after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Miami, Florida on April 11, 1949 to Helen and Reid Harrison Lowe.

Susan was a passionate and spiritual woman who left a great and lasting impression on everyone who met her. She lived at various times in Miami, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Madrid, Boulder and finally residing in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Susan had a variety of careers in her past including working as a registered nurse and hospital administrator in California. She was also the owner/broker of Turtle Mountain Realty in Truth or Consequences and was known for putting people over profit.

Susan met her husband, Richard Auterhoff, while attending Mercer College in Macon, Georgia. They were married in 1968 and had one son, Jonathan Auterhoff of Truth or Consequences. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Reid; twin brother, Steven Harrison; sisters, Nancy and Judith; and twin brothers, Ronald and Donald, and her husband, Richard Auterhoff.
