OBITUARY:
Antony “Tony” Clark was born to Catherine Clark Webster (Charles) and Joseph Anderson (Reather) in Jacksonville, FL on September 13, 1969. On Thursday, January 15, 2026, he departed this life at AMG Specialty Hospital in Batesville, MS.
Tony confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt Calvary M.B. Church in Tchula, MS. Antony was a graduate of SV Marshall High School Class of 1987. He was employed at McNeer and Porter Farms for nearly 30 years. He later attended Swift Trucking Academy where he obtained his Commercial Drivers License. Tony enjoyed trucking, he loved telling stories about his experiences driving to nearly 50 states across the country.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine C. Webster and stepfather, Charles Webster. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Latwata Marie Anderson and Shawanda Anderson.
Antony leaves to cherish his memories: four children: Jace Leggitt(Adam) of Dallas, TX; Antony Lartez Newton of Peoria, IL; Kevin Newton (Geleshia) of Cummings, GA; LeAnajuwan R. Donelson of Tchula, MS. A son and daughter in love, Reggie Newton and Ja'Niah Donelson of Tchula, MS. Six sisters; Latasha Hilton(Lawrence)of Tchula, MS; Tamika Garnett(Calvin)of Tchula, MS; Ashley Webster of Tchula, MS; Lorletha Lacey(Ulysses) of Memphis, TN; Nikita Dean Hogan(Anthony)of Tchula, MS; Ebony Anderson of Ridgeland, MS; and Three brothers: Joseph Anderson of New York, NY; Jay Anderson (Kryslin) of Huntsville, AL; Joseph Conecin of Minneapolis, MN; Two special cousins he thought of as a sister and brother (Earnestine Robinson and Larry Rogers) of Tchula, MS; Three special nephews; Jabarri Howard, Jaxson Cobb and Kendrick Cook; and a special friend Katherine Donelson. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Goodbye, Tony. I had hoped things would have been different for you. I'll see you again, though it will be awhile.
