OBITUARY:

Maya M. Ross was born February 21, 1998 at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital to Stella D. Ross and Willie E. Williams.

Maya confessed Christ at an early age at Good News Christian Center Church. Maya's education started at Tchula Wee Care. She attended S.V. Marshall High School and graduated from Holmes County Central High School in May 2016. She furthered her education and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Mississippi Valley State University in December, 2022.

Maya was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Greene and Maretta Ross; and paternal grandparents, William and Mae Frances Williams. Brother Antione Haymer and sister, Nastassia Williams.

Maya will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, sense of humor and sweet spirit.

Maya is survived by her parents, Stella Ross and Willie Williams. Siblings, Curtina Williams of Saginaw, MI, Rashad Williams and Cambreon Williams of Tchula, MS and Maurice Williams of Huntsville, AL. and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
