OBITUARY:

Patricia Ann Greer was born in Holmes County, Tchula, MS on June 10, 1959, to the late Tom and Verlean Greer. She peacefully departed this life at her residence in Tchula, MS on Saturday, October 11, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Tricia, as she was affectionately known as, received her education in the public school system of Holmes County at Tchula Attendance Center where she graduated in 1978. After graduating from high school, Tricia moved to Milwaukee, WI and furthered her education at MATC College, Tricia later reunited back to her hometown caring for her family.

Patricia's parents Tom and Verlean Greer; seven sisters, Gloria Greer, Chrislena Greer, Sinetra Greer, Hazel D. Greer, Louise Lovie, Evon Mays and Lettie Eva Jackson; nine brothers, Van Greer, Alphonzo Greer, T.J. Greer, D.L. Greer, Odell Greer, Tommie Lee Greer, James Greer and Sam Henderson Jr; one brother in law, James Harvey; two aunts, Earnestine Jenkins and Roby Phillip; three uncles preceded her in death Berline Watson, Sammie Watson and Fred Watson preceded her in death.

At an early age, Patricia joined Mount Calvary M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. C.L. Clark.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Dextrick Greer and Lenell Jenkins, Jr. of Tchula, MS; one granddaughter Jasmine Greer of Arlington, TX; three great grandchildren; Cali D. Jenkins, Dallas R. Jenkins and Amari M. Greer all of Arlington, TX; one daughter-in-law, Londa Smith of Belzoni, MS; three sisters, Diane(Cal) Dixson of Jackson, MS; Jercina(Larry) Smith and Sochia Harvey, of Tchula, MS; six brothers: Ray Greer, Rodriquez Greer, Alvin(Tine)Greer, Calvin Greer of Tchula, MS; Jerry Greer of Lexington, MS; Berline Greer of Clinton, MS and Roosevelt(Callie)Greer of Chicago, IL; three aunts, Catherine Jordan of Greenwood, MS; Rosa Watson of Chicago, IL and Alice Watson of Jackson, MS; God-Mother, Dealice Young of Tchula, MS; a special friend, Willie Kimber of Tchula; sister-in-laws Dorothy Greer of Lexington, MS; Dora Greer of Tchula, MS; Mary Greer and Michelle Greer of Chicago, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to recognize her close friends, Claudia Harris, Ella Mae Winters, Elizabeth Shaffer and caretaker, Orlantha Jackson.
