OBITUARY:
A Time to be Born: Sixty-one years ago on January 12, 1958, in Cruger, MS, Richard Dean Whitehead was born to Roger Young and Marie Whitehead.
A Time to Die: On September 4, 2019, an angel came down and picked one of God's flowers from his earthly tabernacle. He was proceeded in death by his father Roger Young and mother, Marie Whitehead, Grandparents, Joe(Cora) Whitehead and Sister Betty Young.
A Time to Plant: Richard Whitehead confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Mount Valley M.B. Church in Cruger, MS. He later joined Holiness Pentecostal Church of Christ.
A Time to Learn: Richard Whitehead attended Tchula Attendance Center
A Time to Work: Richard Whitehead worked as a farm hand for many years. Also, he worked in a food processing plant until his health began to fail.
A Time to Relax: Richard Whitehead enjoyed fishing and he loved the Dallas Cowboys.
A Time to Mourn: Richard Whitehead leaves to cherish his precious memories; Two sisters: Rosie Young, of Tchula, MS and Patricia Young of Chicago, IL; Three brothers: Henry Whitehead, Roger Young, Jr and Jesse B. Young of Chicago, IL; Seven Aunts: Josiephine(Jessie) Nicholson of Tchula, MS, Rosie Mae Robie, Rosie Lee Leman, Earnestine Jackson, Ruthie Mae Jackson of Greenwood, MS, Maggie Wallace and Frances Lewis of Chicago, IL; Four Uncles, Hays Brown, Robert Jackson of Chicago,IL, Curtis(Delilah) Jackson of Greenwood, MS and Joe Young,Jr. of Tchula, MS; A Special cousin: Dora(Alphonzo) Greer and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A Time of Peace: Richard Dean Whitehead is resting without sickness. He is resting with God.
