OBITUARY:

If I can help someone along the way and then my living wont be in vain.

The life and legacy of Richard "Mane" Person, born on February 8, 1951 to parents of Maulee and Columbus Person.

He received his early education in the Tchula area. He confessed Christ at a late age and joined the Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Nathaniel Studway, who also baptized him.

As he grew into his adulthood, he enjoyed babysitting his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He also had a passion for playing cards. On February 7, 2021, the Lord saw that Mane needed rest. He tapped him on the shoulder and said "child come go with me and take your rest."

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters; Cornelia Jefferson(Lexington, MS); and Corenia Watts (Tchula, MS); two brothers; Columbus Person (Tchula, MS); and Jesse Person (Jackson, MS); a host of nieces, nephews and many other friends; a special friend; Shirley Russell(Tchula, MS).

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Maulee and Columbus Person; two brothers; Willie James and Lank Wright; and two sisters, Bobbie and Norene Person.
