OBITUARY:

Wallace Norwood, Sr. was born to Mr. Will Norwood and Mrs. Lorraine Norwood on October 22, 1949 in Florence, MS. He was the third to the oldest of nine children. Mr. Norwood affectionately known as “Bear Trap” confessed Christ early in life. He attended New Vineyard Church with his son.

Mr. Wallace Norwood was preceded in death by his father, Will T. Norwood, mother, Lorraine Norwood and two brothers, Michael Norwood and Willie J. Norwood.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three children, Danette Griffin(Darian)Dallas, TX., Wallace Norwood, Jr.(Nicole)Jackson, MS., Tameka Davis, Nashville, TN; four sisters; Paulette McGee(Tony) Jackson, MS, Louise Brent, Jackson, MS., Deborah K. Norwood, Jackson, MS., Dora Kendricks, Jackson, MS; Two brothers, Jimmy Norwood(Thelma), Will T. Norwood Jr(Jackie)Jackson, MS. Seven grandchildren; Mercedes Hampton, Dallas, TX., Jaz’man Hampton, Dallas, TX., Triderius Wright, Jackson, MS., De’Vonte Gaddis, Houston, TX., Cardelia Wright, Jackson, MS., Tadanus Noel, Kyla Davis, Nashville, TN.,; two great granddaughters, Zoey King, Dallas, TX and Alysia Noel, Nashville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
