Val was truly one of a kind. She was more than a friend to me. Our story started when we were just nine years old, and through every single chapter of life since, she was there. We shared secrets, laughs, heartbreaks, and dreams. Val had a way of making the world brighter just by being in it, and her loyalty as a friend was like no other.
