PUBLIC VISITATION for Deacon Leroy Ray will be Friday, May 29, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Deacon Leroy Ray, of Chicago, Illinois will be Saturday, May 30, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Zion Valley Baptist Church, in Panola, Alabama. The body of Deacon Leroy Ray, will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service. โจ
INTERMENT will immediately follow the funeral service in Zion Valley MB Church Cemetery, also in Panola, AL. Reverend Marvin Washington, Pastor of Zion Valley M.B. Church will be The Eulogist.

Deacon Leroy Ray is my cousin, we have shared so many memory I am going to miss you, Love always your cousin Demetria Ray I was born and raised in Chicago, I live in Laporte Indiana, always in my heart, he would always tell me you are to light you cannot be a Ray, he would tell me the milk man was my daddy, he always made me laugh, Leroy I will see you again, tell my mother I said hello LOVE YOU SO MUCH DBABY
