PUBLIC VISITATION for Deacon Willie James Murry was Friday, August 26, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Deacon Willie James Murry of Aliceville, Alabama was Saturday, August 27, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Dancy First Baptist Church, 797 Highway 17 South in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Deacon Murry was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT was in Dancy First Baptist Church Cemetery, 797 Highway 17 South, Aliceville, Alabama. Reverend Robert W. Jackson, Jr. is The Pastor of Dancy First Baptist Church. Reverend Walter Hawkins was The Eulogist.
FOR THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF EVERYONE MASKS WERE REQUIRED FOR VISITATION & THE FUNERAL SERVICE.
Individuals who are immune compromised, elderly, at high risk for severe illness, or currently ill were encouraged to remain at home.
