PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Brooks was Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Alexander Brooks, Jr. was Friday, October 4, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1716 County Road 7 in Carrollton, Alabama. The body of Mr. Brooks was in state in the church one hour prior to the service
INTERMENT followed the service in Community Cemetery, 160 Community Road in Carrollton, Alabama. Reverend Zebedee Jones is The Pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Reverend Derrick Ladale Wright, Pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Eutaw, Alabama was The Eulogist.

I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss, Ms. Rita, and am so sorry that I'm unable to be there in person to pay proper respects. Mr. Alexander was one of the kindest and most gracious people I have ever known. The two of you were such an inspiring and loving couple, truly an example for us all.
