It is with deepest sorrow that Lavender’s Funeral Service announces the passing of MR. HARVEY “KIT” CRAIG SR., 74 of Aliceville, Alabama on Friday, November 7, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Harvey Craig will be Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Harvey “Kit” Craig Sr. of Aliceville Alabama will be Friday, November 14, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 4297 County Road 23, in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Craig will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the service in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9654 Highway 14, also in Aliceville. Reverend Willie G. Fulgham, Pastor of Macedonia C. P. Church, will be The Eulogist.

My dear Dad has gone to be with the Lord. Though my heart aches, I find peace knowing he is resting in God's eternal care. His love, faith, and strength will continue to guide me every day. He was a man of great love, kindness, and integrity — someone who shaped me into who I am today. I'll miss his voice, his laughter, and his quiet strength every day. Rest peacefully, Dad. You'll forever be in my heart.
