PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. John Davis will be Friday, January 16, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. John William Davis of Panola, Alabama will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Zion Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 3555 Panola Parkway 34 in Panola, Alabama.The body of Mr. Davis will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the service in Greater Salem A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, 4415 Claude Jackson 35, also in
Panola. Reverend Marvin Earl Washington, Pastor of Zion Valley Missionary Baptist Church will be The Eulogist.

TGBTG....To the family of John Davis (aka: DUDE) I offer sincere condolences and words of comfort. I prayed for him continuously, could not connect with him, but kept him uplifted. Dude had a kind heart, he was a good person. He said we were family, so I let him have that because I don't know. Take your rest Dude Davis, there will be no more tears. To the family...be well. ❤️
