PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Louis Hughes was Friday, January 30, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Louis Hughes, of Aliceville, Alabama was Saturday, January 31, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Emory Chapel CME Church, 7079 CR 13 in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Hughes was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT immediately followed the service in Bethany Town Cemetery, on Bethany Town Road in Aliceville, Alabama.
Reverend Danny McKinstry is Pastor of Emory Chapel CME Church. Reverend Randy Hughes, the loving son of Mr. Louis Hughes was The Eulogist.
