It is with deepest and heartfelt sorrow that Lavender's Funeral Service announces the passing of MR. TAVARIS “SNOWBEAR” LACY, 38 of Coker, AL on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Lacy will be Friday, May 8, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Tavaris Lacy of Coker, Alabama will be Saturday 9, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Weaver Road in Columbus, Mississippi. The body of Mr. Lacy will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the funeral service in Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, also in Columbus, Mississippi.Reverend Christopher McSwain, Pastor of Union Missionary Baptist Church will be The Eulogist.
