PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Barnes was Monday, June 7, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Venson Lamont Barnes, Jr. of Aliceville, Alabama was Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Aliceville City Hall, 419 Memorial Parkway in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Barnes was in state one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT was in Horton Cemetery, in Eutaw, Alabama. Apostle Patrick Bonner, Pastor of Christ For Life Ministries in Aliceville, Alabama was The Eulogist.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Venson; death is such an ugly enemy that robs us of times with our loved ones. I would like to comfort the family with a scripture found at Acts 24:15, which reads: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, all of our loved ones who have died will rise from the grave and be resurrected, no matter if they practiced good or bad. Yes, you will see Venson again!
