It is with deepest sorrow that Lavenderโs Funeral Service announces the passing of MR. WILLIE โBae Monkโ SOMMERVILLE, of Aliceville, Alabama on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, peacefully at his residence.
PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Willie "Bae Monk" Sommerville will be Friday, November 21, 2025 from 3:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Willie Sommerville, of Aliceville Alabama will be Saturday, November 22, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Bigbee Baptist Church, 2945 County Road 78 in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Sommerville will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT for Mr. Willie Sommerville will immediately follow the service in Bigbee Baptist Church Cemetery, 2988 County Road 78, also in Aliceville. Reverend Larry Lanier, Pastor of Bigbee Baptist Church will be The Eulogist.
