PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Willie Hughes, Sr., will be Friday, November 14, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Willie Hughes Sr. of Aliceville Alabama will be Saturday, November 15, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Emory Chapel CME Church, 7079 County Road 13, in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Hughes will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the service in Bethany Cemetery, Bethany Town Road, also in Aliceville. Reverend Q. Prude, Pastor of Providence Missionary Baptist Church, will be The Eulogist.
