It is with deep & heartfelt sorrow that Lavender's Funeral Service announces the passing of Our Own Long & Dedicated Staff Member, MRS. LEOLA HUDSON HINTON, 94 of Aliceville, Alabama on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Mrs. Hinton was A Proficient Retired Educator With The Pickens County School System & A Community Leader. She Was A Lifetime Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Mrs. Hinton Was The Alabama Mizpah Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star District 14 Deputy For 25 Years, A Lifetime Member of The Wright’s Beauty Chapter 16 Order of Eastern Star, & A Charter Member of The Susie Mae Lavender Arts Club.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. Leola Hudson Hinton of Aliceville, Alabama will be Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.

THE HOMEGOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Leola Hudson Hinton, will be Friday,October 23, 2026, 11:00 AM at Cluster Baptist Church, in Aliceville, AL. The body of Mrs. Hinton will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT will immediately follow the service in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, also in Aliceville, AL. Pastor Richard Little, will be The Eulogist.
