Extending deepest condolences and sympathy to the Hughes' family, relatives, and friends. So very sorry to hear of Ms. Lydia B.'s passing. One of the earliest memories of her was when she was a nurse at Dr. Gentry's office in Aliceville. Of course, I grew up with her children, Faye Kay, and Malcolm ("Wayne"). Her kind and respectful manner will continue to be remembered. May she Rest In Peace (R.I.P.)

I had the great pleasure of visiting with Mrs. Hughes while she was in Birmingham. She was the same delightful and calm -natured person that I remember from my boyhood days in Aliceville. I give thanks, along with the family, for her long and productive life, the love that she shared with others, and the assurance of her eternal life.
