THE PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. MATTIE B. COLVIN will be on August 15, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOMEGOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Mattie B.Colvin of Aliceville, Alabama will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at New Canaan Baptist Church, 624 Wilson Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Colvin will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the service in New Cemetery, 196 Valley View Road, in Aliceville, AL. Rev. T. Windham, Pastor of Northside MB Church will be The Eulogist.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Colvin family at this difficult time. We all hold dear how much she shared her love and joy for others (even through cooking) and oh how she love her children, grands and great grands.There are great thoughts and memories left. Mrs. Mattie love and kindness towards us will all be treasured. Well done, rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed.
