THE GRAVESIDE & HOMEGOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Mildred Smitherman will be Friday, September 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church cemetery, Panola, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Smitherman will not lie in state prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the graveside service. Reverend Daisy Belle Thomas-Quinney, Pastor of Panola Church of God will be The Eulogist.

I understand that you wanted to go peacefully and you will truly be missed. I love and respect you and your wishes. When you see Avery hold him close for me. Good news to tell you Angelisa is Clean and having a litte girl today. Wish you were here to meet her. Glad your fight is over. Cancer sucks.
