It was with deepest sorrow that Lavender's Funeral Service announced the passing of MRS. NELLIE LEE PRUDE NOLAND, 72 of Ethelsville, Alabama on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her residence.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. Noland was Friday, June 23, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Nellie Noland was Saturday, June 24, 2023, 12:00 Noon at Elbethel Baptist Church, 6704 County Road 75 in Ethelsville, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Noland was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT was in Christian Hope Cemetery, 367 Coalfire Circle in Reform, Alabama. Reverend Antonio Henry is The Pastor of Elbethel Baptist Church. Reverend Jessie Noland, Pastor of Mt. Galilee Baptist Church in Northport, Alabama was The Eulogist.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Nellie; death is such an ugly enemy that robs us of times with our loved ones. I would like to comfort the family with a scripture found at Acts 24:15, which reads: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, all of our loved ones who have died will rise from the grave and be resurrected, no matter if they practiced good or bad. Yes, you will see Nellie again!
