It is with deepest sorrow that Lavenders Funeral Service announces the passing of MRS. VELMA LEE 'Pig' COLE, 87 of Aliceville, Alabama on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at her residence.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. Velma Cole was Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE of Mrs. Velma Lee Cole was Thursday, July 2, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Parian Primitive Baptist Church 4047 County Road 23 in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Cole was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT was in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9654 Highway 14, also in Aliceville. Reverend Johnson will be The Eulogist.
