It is with deepest sorrow that Lavenderโs Funeral Service announces the passing of Mrs. Yvonne Tweedie, 68 of Aliceville, Alabama on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. Yvonne Tweedie will be Friday, October 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavenderโs Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Yvonne Tweedie of Aliceville, Alabama will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 1:00 p.m. at Spirit and Truth Pentecostal Church, 2717 MLK Road, Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Tweedie will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the service in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9654 Highway 14, Aliceville, Alabama. Reverend Richard Hood, Pastor of New Wright Baptist Church in Aliceville, Alabama will be The Eulogist.

Add A CondolenceTo the family and friends of Mrs. Yvonne Tweedie. Please allow me to express my sympathies to all who loved her. In doing so, may I also leave a word of encouragement. Our Creator promises that there will be a time when "sickness and death" will be eliminated (Revelation 21:3, 4). In fact, He promises that a resurrection will happen, just as when Jesus' friend Lazarus died but was brought back to life. (Acts 24:15; John 11:11-14, 38-45). We can see our loved ones again.
