The PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs.Lila Smith will be Friday, June 5, 2026 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE GRAVESIDE HOMEGOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Lila Smith, of Carrollton, AL will be Saturday, June 6, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Memorial Gardens, in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Ms. Lila Smith, will lie in state in the cemetery 20 minutes prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the funeral service in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, also in Aliceville, AL. Reverend Bernard Henry, Pastor of Infant M.B. Church will be The Eulogist.

Sister Lila was a beautiful lady. she loved Jesus and everyone. She encouraged everyone with her unique spiritual songs. I would invite her to sing on our early morning Power Hour,(teleconference) New Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church on different Sabbath Mornings. The city and church in Hurtsboro, AL miss her. She was a true missionary. My family loved her. I was happy to celebrate her 100 birthday with her last year. Theodis, you were a faithful son. God bless you and the family.
