It was with deepest sorrow that Lavender's Funeral Service announced the passing of MS. LUCY BELL PRUDE, 72 of Carrollton, Alabama on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 while in the loving care of her son and daughter in Ethelsville, Alabama.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Ms Prude was Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at Lavenderโs Funeral Service
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Ms. Lucy Bell Prude was Sunday, July 16, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 1353 Springhill Road in Carrollton, Alabama. The body of Ms. Pude was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT followed the funeral service in Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Samuel Cole, Pastor of Spring Hill Baptist Church was The Eulogist.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Lucy; death is such an ugly enemy that robs us of times with our loved ones. I would like to comfort the family with a scripture found at Acts 24:15, which reads: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, all of our loved ones who have died will rise from the grave and be resurrected, no matter if they practiced good or bad. Yes, you will see Lucy again!
