It is with deepest sorrow that Lavender's Funeral Service announces the passing of REVEREND CHARLES PLOTT, SR., 68 of Carrollton, Alabama on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at his residence. Reverend Plott was the dedicated former Associate Minister of Infant Baptist Church in Carrollton.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Reverend Charles Plott of Carrollton, AL will be Saturday, December 16, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Aliceville City Hall, 419 Memorial Parkway East in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Reverend Plott will lie in state in City Hall one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will be in Community Cemetery, 160 Community Cemetery Road in Carrollton, AL. Reverend Antwon Plott, Son of Reverend Charles Plott and Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Pell City, AL will be The Eulogist.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Charles; death is such an ugly enemy that robs us of times with our loved ones. I would like to comfort the family with a scripture found at Acts 24:15, which reads: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, all of our loved ones who have died will rise from the grave and be resurrected, no matter if they practiced good or bad. Yes, you will see Charles again!
